Rules & Regulations
Cardinal Principles
In order to assist the students in developing their characters, the Academy set definite principles which every student is expected to uphold. Listed below are some practices the Academy believes are dangerous to students and will demoralize their character. Any student found guilty of breaking any of these standards shall be disciplined and stern measures taken against the offenders as a means of helping him/her to appreciate the importance of the rules of true conduct. If the academy administration considered the infringement as serious the student will be dismissed from the academy.
- Drinking liquor, handling or having it or giving it to others
- Use or possession of any tobacco products such as cigarette, khaini, zarda, talab, betal nut, supari, etc and use of narcotics or drug in any form.
- Propagating immoral, atheistic infidel ideas of undermining the vision and mission of the academy.
- Use of profane language or indulging in low conduct or suggestion, or possession of obscene literature or picture.
- Willful destruction of academy property or facilities.
- Any act of indiscipline, insubordination, demonstration, interference in the administration, disrespect to any member of the staff or continuing in criticism and fault-finding.
- Cheating or dishonesty in any form.
- Continued and willful disregard or disobedience to any member of the faculty and staff.
- Excess absence from classes, work or responsibility.
- Theft in any form.
General Rules
- The Principal may suspend attendance or require the withdrawal of any pupil without having to assign any reason; provided he is satisfied that such a step is necessary in the interest of the academy and the pupil concerned.
- While utmost precaution is being taken, the academy cannot be held responsible for accidents, minor or serious, to pupils during the stay in the academy or while taking part in sports and co-curricular activities within or outside the academy premises.
- Students are subject to school discipline not only in the academy but also while coming from and returning to their home and at other public places.
- Any damage done to the school property must be made good by those concerned.
- No magazines, comics, papers, books or printed matter other than School Text books and the School Diary, may be brought to the school without the permission of the Principal. Parcels and letters are subject to inspection.
- Fancy items such as electronic gadgets (fancy watches, toys, digital diaries, cell phones, cameras, walkman, CDS etc) are not permitted in the school. Punk, stylish and fancy haircuts or hair styles, tattoos, use of gel and Plucking of eye-brows are not permitted.
- Students are required to treat teachers and all members of the staff, teaching and non-teaching with respect and politeness.
- Students must show gentleness and courtesy to their companions.
- Refinement of manners, uprightness and self-restraint should be the distinguishing mark of our students. On their way to and from school, they are expected to behave in a gentlemanly/ladylike manner with due honor to the name of the school.
- Students are responsible for the safe custody of their books and belongings. Each article should be marked with the student’s name.
- The school diary contain all important informations so students must give special care. The Diary must be brought to school daily. In case of lose the student must get a written permission from the Principal to buy a new diary on payment of Rs. 300/-.
- Every student should take part in the Co-curricular activities of the Academy such as Games & Sports, Literary competitions, Social activities, physical exercise, etc. without any excuse.
- Students must wish the teachers when they enter or leave the classrooms or when they meet them outside the school.
- Students also must wish whenever any dignitaries enters and leave their classrooms and when they meet outside the class.
Regulations
- Morning Assembly is conducted every morning except on Wednesday on which Classes IX – X and Teachers Combined Devotion is held. Uniform, Cleanliness of body, nails, teeth, hair, shoes etc. are checked. Announcements are made. National Anthem is sung and the Morning Prayer or the Lord’s Prayer is recited during the Morning Assembly.
- Evening Assembly is conducted every evening. Academy Anthem is sung. Selected students give their Presentation. Important announcements are made, necessary instruction are given. Evening Prayer is recited and teachers bade good-bye to their pupils.
- The Academic Year of the school is divided into four Quarterly orTerm namely:
- The First Quarterly or Term : January to April.
- The Second Quarterly or Term : May to August.
- The Third Quarterly or Term : September to November.
- The Fourth Quarterly or Term : December to February.
Absence & Leave
- Late comers must obtain permission from the Principal to enter the class.
- Leave of absence must be applied to the Principal through the class master by the student. The reason for the leave should be clearly stated. Such leave letter should be endorsed by the father/mother/legal guardian.
- In case of sickness, the doctor’s prescription or a certificate from the doctor consulted should be attached to the application.
- No leave shall be granted to student for participating in non-academy activities such as meetings, games and sports, competitions and functions during school hours.
- In case of the death of one’s family members or very close relatives, leave shall be granted only for three days. No leave shall be granted for the death of villager.
- Leave shall be granted ONLY on the validity of the reason cited by the applicant. All applications for leave shall not be entertained.
- Absent without leave is FINED WITH RS. 20/- per day. Absent fine should be paid within the week.
- Students should not be absent on the day prior to holidays or tests or exams. No leave shall be granted for absent during tests or exams.
- Absent on the re-opening day after any holiday is NOT allowed except on grievous reason such as serious sickness of the student himself/herself or death of the student’s own family member. Any student absent on such day shall have to pay a fine of Rs 50/- on the first day and Rs. 30/- on the subsequent days of absent. The total fined amount MUST be paid on the day the student attend the school. Absent for more than TWO weeks without information shall invite deletion of the student’s name from the attendance register which will tantamount to Re-Admission.
